Make sure to rotate your pronouns periodically, so that if your gender becomes compromised, attackers can only access it for a short period of time.
If you ever wondered why pronouns are written like "he/him" - it's because two factor gender is more secure
@PavelASamsonov i've only wondered why we do nominative and determinative pronouns but not possessive pronouns
@PavelASamsonov maybe this is because trans folks tend to be critical of ownership
@ratsnakegames English is open source, you can push any change you like
@PavelASamsonov something you know and something you have
@PavelASamsonov This seems to be such a great summation of the kind of people you find on the Fediverse.
@PavelASamsonov i always make sure my pronouns are at least 12 characters long and contain at least one number and one special character
@glumbus @PavelASamsonov Not secure enough, at least 30% of your pronoun must be in the Wingdings font.
@PavelASamsonov I always generate a different One-Time Gender for every social interaction. Less chance of gender replay that way.
@PavelASamsonov I use a unique gender each time.
@PavelASamsonov what cool gender manager do you recommend?
@PavelASamsonov when I sign in to my gender, it texts me a 6-digit temporary gender that is valid for one minute.

@SecondUniverse

Btw if you use a Slavic language, you have 5 non-prepositional and 5 prepositional forms of your personal pronoun for 6 cases (5 because not all cases allow both forms), so can randomly change each one between 3-4 options (masculine, feminine, neuter and plural, but some forms coincide). [Actually that's why I think that pronouns in their current form are very English-centric stuff]

@PavelASamsonov

@PavelASamsonov It seems, some people use this recommendation literally 😊
@menelion All of my recommendations should be taken seriously
@PavelASamsonov wait. Wait. How can a gender get compromised?
@PavelASamsonov I thought current best practices were to make sure your gender is complex, with many bits of entropy, contains upper and lowercase, alphanumerics, and punctuation, and shouldn't be changed unless there is reason to believe your gender has been compromised.
@PavelASamsonov and remember that all genders can still suffer from "man in the middle" attacks!
