NO KINGS ACCESSIBLE RALLY · No Kings

**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.** What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever. When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence. On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets or join a virtual rally, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us. Resistance is for everyone, everywhere. But showing up isn't always easy. That's why we created a space that makes it possible for everyone to show up, however it works for you and fits your life. Protect our health. Defend our democracy. No Kings. **You can sign up the join the virtual rally [here](https://www.standupforscience.net/sufs-nk3).** ASL interpreting and live captioning will be provided. *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*

@ahimsa_pdx I just saw your link in the chat. It was such a great event, and I'm glad to find you here to follow!

@hydropsyche Hi! 👋

I figured it was a long shot but it actually worked! 😁

@ahimsa_pdx Yeah, the chat was flying, but I was just skimming along and saw Mastodon, the best word.

I wasn't feeling up to much today, so it was just really nice to spend time in a virtual space that centered disability, instead of shoving us to the back of the room and insisting we're included
