@ianbetteridge Pubs were dark, strange, magical and weirdly smelling places that you could only get glimpses of the inside back in the olden days
Terrible generalisation, but in Europe kids fit into the adult world. UK and Ireland feels like it’s the other way around. Parents expect the world to fit around their children. So I can see why some places would do that here.
