Will it Mint? Yes it will.
I’ve had a really old Microsoft Surface sitting in a bookcase for years. No interest in it (Win10). I just happened to see it and thought “Will you run Linux Mint?”. Well it will and it does.
Touchscreen is borked but that’s a very thin laptop for travelling and typing if push came to shove.
Interesting. The Apple Ecosystem, streaming and messaging definitely take up a lot. Not too bad. Apple aren’t awful for me. Streaming for Herself. Messaging - its business, tough to move people. Payments is definitely on my radar to look at soon

I’ve given up trying to buy good bread around here. I didn’t want to, but I’ve started baking my own baguettes. The problem now is going to be baking enough - Herself is very happy and demolishing them 😳
Looks like the US is playing chicken with Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. So really not sure why AFKLM are sending me promo emails to book flights to the US 🤷🏼♂️
We probably should be taking less flights for a bit and going to the US? Hahahahah, no.
She also mentally rehearsed her French to order at another place. Obviously starting with ‘Bonsoir’
Waiter: “Bonjour”
Herself: “Bonsoir”
Waiter: “Oh, desole, Bonsoir Madame’
Herself: [Carry’s on with order]
Me later: “Did you mean to correct that guy that dismissively?”
Herself: “Wha?”
Me: [Explains]
Herself: “OMFG, no! I’d just rehearsed and was on a roll!”
I have had an entertaining evening.
A waiter this evening asked Herself if she was German, then Dutch, she said she was English and he looked dubious.
That was a few hours ago and I haven’t stopped laughing yet. Her face 😆
