JakeSparkleChicken@NullNoMore Just a heads up on that gorgeous pen: red and purple inks will stain the hell out of the acrylic on the section. I don't know about other colors, but mine has a distinct pale raspberry hue.
It's still a gorgeous pen, and writes beautifully, but I thought a word of warning was warranted.
@JakeSparkleChicken - oh no! Good to know, although pink would look good with it.. Would permanent inks stain it too, do you know?
@NullNoMore I'm not sure. I started off with J Herbin Rose Cyclamen in it, and it started to stain with that. Swapped it with Diamine Frosted Orchid, and the staining got worse. The last ink that I had in it was J Herbin Poussiere de Lune, and it got even deeper.
I just kind of figure that if it is going to be stained, I'd rather it be stained consistently, rather than muddling it so it looks brown!
@JakeSparkleChicken - quartz and rose is a good combo, I think you chose well.

Here's what it looks like these days. This is after several runs through the ultrasonic cleaner. I haven't tried anything harsher than dish soap. The pen definitely isn't ruined, but it is distinctly different.
