So I got around to actually writing that article about coming to slow hiking I was planning weeks ago and never got around to.

Trying my hardest to actually do stuff and not doom scroll.

Linked below if you can contain your anger at my inability to self edit, not abuse punctuation, or stay on topic and entirely serious for long enough to finish a paragraph. I'm a very AuDHD kind of writer just like I am here :)

Trying to fill the blog with stuff I wanted to be there.

@naturepunk this is great, thank you for sharing it
@sarahdalgulls thank you for reading it :)
@naturepunk walking/hiking is the only exercise I can bear to do, there's no rules or set amount I "should" be doing, it doesn't have to be competitive or a team sport.. just go out for a walk, as far as you want to wherever. The being outside and feeling part of the world is the best bit. I know I now go for very long walks some days, but I also like to take a walk around the block, listen to the birds, look at the trees.. your post is really very good at explaining this I think
@naturepunk Thanks for posting this. Found myself nodding in agreement as I read. The section "We ARE Nature" is spot one. Top post well written. 😃

@naturepunk I greatly enjoyed reading this post. This is the kind of attitude I'm working to embody. I'm here in the now and I'd like to have that here and now be out on a trail more.

I enjoy your writing style too. As a fellow AuDHD person, it reads very naturally to me

@jankhambrams thanks :) I'm trying not to edit out me when I write these days which I did for a long time.

It's hard being true to yourself after years of being told to moderate everything that makes you, you.

I'm glad these days we can be ourselves :)

@naturepunk That's awesome! I very much respect that and am also embracing myself for who I am.

It is so incredibly exhausting living under the unfair restrictions imposed upon us for others' comfort.

Me too! I like being me :)

@naturepunk It's a manifesto! Great writing....

@downbeatdan thanks, I can't help but sound like I'm leading a movement when I'm passionate.

The Citizen Smith of fast fading crusty folks who want to take walks in nature :)
