I haven't ridden an Audax for a few years but I'm still a member of AUK and love the members magazine. Every ride report is either "I had a lovely day out on my bike" or "I suffered a physical and emotional crisis on this ride".

Doing audaxes is why the CycleStreets app on Android defaulted to kilometres, and once I'd written the sat nav it said "Arrivée" and not something like "you have reached your destination.
