A Palestinian was killed and another seriously injured on Saturday in an Israeli drone strike on the Shejaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, in a new violation of a ceasefire deal in effect since last October.

An Israeli drone carried out a strike on the Al-Shamaa area of the Shejaiya neighborhood, eyewitnesses told Anadolu.

The attack left one Palestinian dead and another person seriously injured, medical sources reported.
