Zaid Ibhais, a researcher on Jerusalem affairs, says the Israeli occupation is increasingly using the holy month of Ramadan to accelerate the spatial and temporal division of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Speaking to Middle East Eye, Ibhais says that Israel has shifted its approach during the ongoing war, viewing Ramadan as a "season for testing the machinery of liquidation."
