@NanoRaptor A polite squirrel would be lovely. A non polite one a pest and those situations break my heart because I donโt like animals hurt or killed when seen as pests.
(The way a human views animals tend to say a lot about them.)

What I really want is a mismatched pair of animals who become best buddies.
There's a zoo in Belgium where you can rent a hotel room with a patio that looks directly out into the capybara enclosure.
According to a story/urban legend I heard they also make really good guard cats...

Ones you see at zoos and animal rescue places are very friendly with their keepers, so I imagine I'd have no trouble with it. Plus it's a cat. Cats are always cool.
