After a bit of hiatus I've got one angle cut off of the future mantle.

What should I do with this triangle? I'll have two of them when all is said and done.

@scandigonian maybe? I'd have to carve with power tools or something though. This wood is crazy hard

Really? I used to do most of my carving in black walnut. Maybe you have some extra dense heartwood, there. Is it fairly heavy for its size?
