Things I do not want my operating system to do:

1) Spy on me.
2) Sell my information to people who spy on me.
3) Advertise to me.
4) Force me to use tools I regard as evil.

@GeePawHill I feel like people have forgotten about the OSI model of abstraction layers.
Specifically,

"the application layer determines the identity and availability of communication partners for an application with data to transmit. "

My samsung phone does all of those things..
