I had a nasty face-plant into a wall last week, and spent much of the last 10days with a cervical collar, healing a neck sprain, and some face damage.

Thankfully I'm mostly healed, other than a sore knee that has been cutting into my afternoon-walk opportunities.

Ready for spring activities once I'm done with this.

Good reminder not to take one's #health for granted - it can change pretty suddenly.

@ottaross Gee, we seem to be on the same timeline! I had a weird fall with my e-bike couple of weeks ago - got two black eyes (my glasses got pushed into my face pretty hard), bruised knees, lots of cuts, and most fun of all, a so-called "popped" rib.
I've just been completely out flat from the pain killers. The rib is making fewer weird noises now, at any rate, so I guess it's healing okay.

@LillyHerself Ugh - sounds rough, but I can relate indeed. Reassuring to see things healing quickly.

When I was an active rock climber it always seemed that the previous weekends scrapes, bruises and cuts were always just disappearing as I made a fresh set the following weekend, so I figure I had lots of healing practice. 🤣
