@dpgalliance Decades of experience by the global FOSS community will show that the practice of UG's copyright assignment requirements will discourage global digital cooperation, and entrench the "not invented here" syndrome. Imagine the discouragement of people who visit public parks where the government disallowed citizens from independently picking up litter!
