As far as I'm concerned, you have three options:

1. Not watch the new Harry Potter.

2. Watch the new Harry Potter but shut up about it.

3. Admit to watching the new Harry Potter and be judged.

There is no fourth option. I think you should do number 1, but you're a grownup and I don't have access to your router, so it's not up to me. But understand that if you do watch it, you need to either shut the hell up or brace yourself. Because I am not here to make you feel ok about it.

@maxleibman "It's ok, I will be pirating it"
No, is really not. You're still giving your attention to a terf product, which will probably make you buy some merchandise sooner or later.

I know it sucks, but just delete it from your mind.

@Johns_priv @maxleibman

(You can pirate the merchandise, too.)

@iju
And then use it in public, thus promoting the TERF... 😡

@zipkid @Johns_priv @maxleibman

Well, depends on the merchandise, I suppose?

But I'd say if you're old enough to have a credit card (for HBO Max), or engage in piracy, you are probably also old enough to not need pencils for school etc.

That being said, I'm personally not much into purity tests, and generally don't bother people who write fanfiction, commit piracy, participate in larps with the serial filed off, etc.

@iju @zipkid @maxleibman You don't have kids I guess...
'Dad, dad, I want this!!' or maybe they love it so much you just want them to have it so they are happy; the amount of Bluey merchandise my 3 y.o. has would surprise a 5 years ago version of me.
@Johns_priv
2 of me & ex
2 my wife & ex
I know what this is about...
@iju @maxleibman
@zipkid So you understand, less exposure to a product=less chances to be buying merchandise ^_^
@Johns_priv I think that is what i was getting at....
