@samlitzinger The party is totally on board with the bigots. They need their votes. What they don’t want is less extreme, traditional conservative members & independents seeing that, because they desperately need their votes too. Hence the Washington Post was the outlet to run this lie in. A paper more likely to be read by those less extreme than Fuentes & his cult.
