The company Alfred Nobel founded, Dynamit Nobel, became the biggest manufacturer of powder and ammunitions for the German Reich. Nobel was an ass and the prize should be renamed. Zelenskyy Peace Prize would be much better.

But he also suffer for, what dynamite was used for later and hated yourself for it. That's why most of his fortune dedicated to Nobel foundation.

Alfred Nobel invented ballistite which went into weapons. He made it specifically to be used in weapons. Mr. Peace Prize was an arms manufacturer and a hypocrite.
He sold 300,000 kg of ballistite to the Italian Army. He ran a factory in Italy which made it. It was used in bullets, grenades, and mortars. If he felt guilty it's because he was guilty.
