I have never heard the “Maine Lobster theory” for covid, but I suspect they’re right that EVALI (the “vape illness” from 2019) was actually covid.

Back when it was happening there were a few reports of other household members getting sick even though they didn’t vape. Idk but if lobsters from Maine really did spread it in the wet market, where did the lobsters catch it?

@maggiejk it'll be horseshit. Lobster blood chemistry is too different to ours probably a case of correlation isn't causation. There's no respiratory transmission between our species, though red tide poisoning and allergic reactions could look superficially similar.

There's no genuine fish/ shellfish link. Wet markets also sell wild caught mammalian and bird meat, it's almost like a bush meat trade on the side. It ain't the fish. It's the workers.
