Turns out drones can deliver root beer floats
@jerry tbh that's a pretty awesome test case!
@jerry floats by flight. Do you have to go to the coastline to get a submarine sandwich?
@jerry wow, that seems pretty heavy for the drones I’m familiar with. How far did it have to carry them?
@jerry Hey Jerry; how much extra is the delivery charges?
@grumpy4n6 I paid $0.44 for that whole order using coupons. Delivery is free.
@jerry wow. Just wow. Thanks
@jerry @grumpy4n6 enjoy, haven’t had β€œreal” root beer for like two decades
@nieldk @grumpy4n6 this was the first time in a very long time for me too
@jerry @grumpy4n6 also, forgot that it needs vanilla ice cream . Might spend what it takes since Easter holidays coming up here :)
(Likely $3 per serving for real here)
@nieldk @jerry Enjoy! I am old and lucky enough to have enjoyed A+W root beer in large ice cold glass mugs... At home we made floats with vanilla ice cream as a huge treat. Now I use a German 1 litre beer mug :) Now we have a few good to choose from!
@grumpy4n6 @nieldk I'm old enough to have a set of those giant A&W mugs in my kitchen. I really should stick those in the freeze. I forgot about them till just now.
@jerry @nieldk Your are indeed a fortunate man :)
@grumpy4n6 @jerry Etta Cameron drove a American shop here in Copenhagen until I think 2010, that’s where I got it (after a 3 month visit in San Diego area before 2000), so, no more
@nieldk @jerry yup I remember that shop as well as a British one. When we shop in Germany we can sometimes get various versions :) still happy it tastes amazing for so many years:)
@grumpy4n6 @jerry A+W is what I remember from ~2000 absolutely marvellous
@nieldk @jerry This was in the 60s :)but I have enjoyed it about 5 years ago... With grandpa teen burgers.... Damn, Now I am wanting a burger:)
