Santa Fe Caboose up for sale at a local Estate Sale.

(no, I don't have a backyard big enough).

@ai6yr how do you find estate sales to hit up?
@Viss Craigslist, estate sale listing sites.
@ai6yr oh wow that easy huh? i should check out the ones around here

@Viss @ai6yr I really don't mean to be a know-it-all and I'm sorry but I happened to look over here at this screen and...

You can sign up for notification sites. Real Estate agencies use them for leads. Cop auctions are also amazing for the flip.

Depending on the area you are in they can provide you like... emailed lists of when/where to go.

@jackryder @Viss estatesales.net is fairly good here, Craigslist, etc. I buy from cop auctions for old rugged computers, although they are always very old, lol (a number of XP-era rugged computer which might outlast the Internet, at this rate).
@ai6yr @jackryder id be super curious to see how this sorta stuff fares in san diego county. rsf is packed with rich people so i wager the estate sales there would be wild
@Viss @jackryder Rich people's homes are BORING! All white, high end furniture... nothing interest LOL. NASA and aerospace engineer's homes, however, have all kind of cool aerospace paraphernalia.
@ai6yr @Viss I've worked with a lot of those people and they are absolutely insane.

@ai6yr @Viss And own weird things...

Like you'll be talking to them and they'll just mention how they own an exclusive state license to a burger-franchise.
