After watching the work on ThunderScope and ngscopeclient on mastodon over the months/years, my work has come around to a cycle of hardware development and I was inspired to finally request that my employer #Shure purchase a Thunderscope for me. They immediately gave me permission. I now just have to figure out how to actually do that on the company dime.

I am such a cheapskate, I have been using a 1998 era TDS220 that I borrowed from a friend in 2020 as my scope.

I have approval. I also found my corporate credit card in the "safe place" that I put it.

To find it, I practiced my hobby for a bit: "looking for lost tools." :-)

@poleguy @azonenberg hell yeah! It's so cool watching this go from project to a useful tool people actually buy to do real work with - can't wait to ship um all out in a few months

You should be super proud of this! I have "go from project to useful tool... people buy to do real work" on my bucket list.

For now, I'm excited to share your joy!
