🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 #Transport for #Wales will introduce major improvements to rail services in North Wales from 17 May 2026. The North Wales Coast Line will see a 50% increase in services, with a new standard hourly timetable for easier journey planning. Key changes include an hourly Llandudno–Liverpool service, an extended Manchester Airport–Holyhead service, and an hourly Wrexham–Crewe service. Commuting links to Holyhead and Bangor will improve, and Valley station becomes a compulsory stop. Pay-As-You-Go ticketing will be rolled out at 15 stations, and summer services between Carmarthen and Tenby will increase.
