Chattava da tempo sul social network Snapchat con quello che credeva essere un 17enne di Milano. Lui le prometteva di sposarla una volta raggiunta la maggiore età, ma dietro quel giovane milanese si nascondeva un 36enne di Vicenza. L’indagine è scattata dopo la denuncia fatta dai genitori della minore, una ragazzina di appena 11 anni, che avevano trovato nel telefono della figlia una chat con foto e materiale pedopornografico autoprodotto.
L’indagine, condotta dalla sezione operativa di Rimini e coordinata dalla Procura di Bologna, ha rivelato come il 36enne, convivente con i propri genitori, era riuscito a carpire la fiducia dell’11enne. Nelle chat si legge di come l’uomo avesse cercato di instaurare un rapporto sentimentale con la bambina, senza mai avanzare la richiesta di incontrarsi dal vivo, e aveva poi richiesto foto intime e video. Sarebbe stata poi la stessa bambina a inviare tutto all’adescatore.
La Polizia Postale ha identificato l’uomo e ha proceduto con la perquisizione informatica sui suoi dispositivi, che ha portato al sequestro del telefono dell’indagato: proprio dal suo cellulare sarebbe stata ricostruita la storia al malato rapporto tra l’uomo e la vittima 11enne adescata, ma avrebbe anche confermato ulteriori conversazioni, nate col medesimo fine, con altre minori in diverse zone d’Italia. Grazie a tutte le prove raccolte, la procura di Bologna ha ottenuto dal giudice per le indagini preliminari un’ordinanza di custodia cautelare.

I had been chatting on the social network Snapchat with someone I believed to be a 17-year-old from Milan. He promised to marry me once he reached the age of majority, but behind that young Milanese man was a 36-year-old from Vicenza. The investigation was launched after a complaint was filed by the parents of the minor, a girl of just 11 years old, who found a chat with photos and self-produced pedophilic material in her daughter’s phone.
The investigation, conducted by the operational section of Rimini and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Bologna, revealed how the 36-year-old, living with his parents, had managed to gain the trust of the 11-year-old. The chats showed how the man had tried to establish a romantic relationship with the girl, never requesting to meet in person, and then asked for intimate photos and videos. It was the girl herself who then sent everything to the manipulator.
The Postal Police identified the man and proceeded with a computer search on his devices, which led to the seizure of the investigated’s phone: it was from his mobile phone that the story of the unhealthy relationship between the man and the 11-year-old victim lured, but it also confirmed further conversations, born with the same purpose, with other minors in different areas of Italy. Thanks to all the evidence collected, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Bologna obtained an order for precautionary custody from the judge for preliminary investigations.
