Cinquecentodieci bovini da latte messi in salvo uno a uno mentre le fiamme divoravano parte della struttura. È accaduto nella serata di giovedì a Cascina Rancate, nel territorio di San Giuliano Milanese, dove un vasto incendio ha colpito un’ala dell’azienda agricola estesa per circa 1.500 metri quadrati. L’allarme è scattato in serata e i vigili del fuoco hanno concentrato le prime operazioni proprio sulla messa in sicurezza degli animali presenti nella stalla. Tutti i 510 capi sono stati evacuati senza conseguenze.
Solo successivamente le squadre intervenute hanno potuto dedicarsi allo spegnimento del rogo, che ha interessato in particolare l’area del fienile. Per tutta la notte si sono alternati sedici mezzi e circa sessanta vigili del fuoco, impegnati prima nel contenimento delle fiamme e poi nelle lunghe operazioni di bonifica e raffreddamento. Le cause dell’incendio sono ancora in fase di accertamento. Secondo le prime informazioni, il rogo si sarebbe sviluppato durante la breve ma intensa ondata di maltempo che nella serata di giovedì ha interessato diverse zone della Città metropolitana di Milano. Anche nella mattinata successiva alcune squadre sono rimaste sul posto per completare le operazioni di spegnimento e mettere in sicurezza l’area interessata dall’incendio.

Five hundred and ten dairy cattle were saved one by one while flames devoured part of the structure. It happened on Thursday evening in Cascina Rancate, in the territory of San Giuliano Milanese, where a vast fire struck a wing of the farm covering approximately 1,500 square meters. The alarm was triggered in the evening and firefighters concentrated their initial operations on securing the animals in the barn. All 510 animals were evacuated without consequences.
Only later were the teams that intervened able to dedicate themselves to extinguishing the fire, which particularly affected the barn area. Sixteen vehicles and approximately sixty firefighters took turns throughout the night, initially in containing the flames and then in the long operations of remediation and cooling. The causes of the fire are still under investigation. According to initial information, the fire developed during the short but intense storm front that struck several areas of the Metropolitan City of Milan on Thursday evening. Some teams also remained on site in the following morning to complete the extinguishing operations and secure the area affected by the fire.

Milan, integration of Sasom in Ala begins
Milan, May 27 (Adnkronos) - The integration of Società Ambiente del Sud-Ovest Milanese (Sasom) into Aemme Linea Ambiente (Ala), a fully public company active in the management of environmental services, is beginning. The acquisition and merger agreement of Sasom was signed today in Gaggiano, in the Milanese area.
The operation, approved by the shareholders' meeting last April 27th - Ala notes - represents another step in Ala’s industrial consolidation path and allows the company to expand its operational perimeter to 33 municipalities and approximately 385,000 residents served, through the integration of the eleven territories of the South-West Milanese previously managed by Sasom: Basiglio, Binasco, Casarile, Gaggiano, Gudo Visconti, Noviglio, Rognano, Rosate, Vermezzo with Zelo, Vernate and Zibido San Giacomo.
The integration will also bring approximately 80 employees and 60 vehicles into the company’s perimeter, strengthening the company’s operational capacity and facilitating a more coordinated management of waste collection and urban hygiene services. Industrially, the new structure - it is explained - “aims to overcome managerial fragmentation through the rationalization of logistical processes, the organization of shifts, the management of the vehicle fleet and maintenance activities, with the goal of generating economies of scale and greater operational efficiency to the benefit of the municipalities and the served territories”.
The expansion of the industrial size will also allow Ala to support its industrial plan, accelerating investments destined for the renewal of the fleet, the introduction of digital tools for monitoring operational processes and the evolution of collection systems, with the aim of improving the quality of selective collection and strengthening circular economy models.

The famous showgirl was transported to the hospital in yellow code on Monday morning, at the climax of a delicate intervention by law enforcement in her apartment in the Brera area. The incident is intertwined with the ongoing investigations by the local police regarding two traffic accidents that occurred Saturday evening, in which a SUV driven by the presenter was allegedly involved.
The alarm in the prestigious Milanese neighborhood sounded at dawn on Monday, shortly after 7:00 AM. The awakening of some residents was interrupted by unmistakable cries coming from the showgirl’s apartment. Belen Rodriguez’s voice was clearly heard shouting repeatedly: "Help, help me."
Concerned by the situation, a neighbor immediately called the 112, triggering the prompt intervention of police patrol cars. The situation appeared complex from the outset, requiring the support of firefighters and 118 medical personnel, whose vehicles blocked traffic on the street for a considerable time. A lengthy negotiation lasting more than three hours was deemed necessary. The emergency was only resolved when the firefighters were preparing to force the entrance door: at that point, the showgirl decided to open it independently for the authorities. Found in a clear state of agitation, the presenter was taken into care by doctors and transferred to the hospital in yellow code for all clinical examinations.
Turbulent Weekend
The sudden illness and the intervention of rescuers closed a weekend already turbulent in itself, on which authorities are now trying to make complete clarity. In recent days, Belen’s name has been at the center of several reports related to urban traffic. Two witnesses presented themselves to the local police claiming to have seen her driving a SUV that, on Saturday evening, would have been involved in two different accidents that occurred shortly after each other.
The Two Reported Accidents
The first impact occurred around 7:30 PM near the Arco della Pace, where the large vehicle hit and demolished the mirror of a parked car. A few kilometers further on, returning to the Brera area, the same car then collided with a motorcycle and other parked cars. On both occasions, the driver continued driving away from the scene of the impact without stopping to check the damage or leave their details.
The Milanese local police are currently conducting investigations on this final sequence of events to verify the testimonies and ascertain the actual responsibilities.

I saw Fabrizio Corona crying at Opera. It’s one of the most unexpected passages in Giampaolo Manca’s account, the former man of the Mala del Brenta known as “the Doge,” who, in an interview with Corriere della Sera, recounts years of prison, crime, and redemption.
Manca, now 72 years old, spent decades between hiding, arrests, and detention, until collaboration with justice and a path that he now recounts also in a documentary film dedicated to his life. In the interview with Corriere, he talks primarily about the Opera prison, where he would have come into contact with mafia bosses, terrorists, and famous people. Roma, Firenze, Venezia e Milano. Un tour lungo, circa una ventina di giorni, fino a quando martedì sera non è stato rintracciato in un bed&breakfast del capoluogo lombardo e portato all’ospedale Sacco, dove si trova in isolamento. È questa la mappa degli spostamenti del turista inglese, 60 anni, sottoposto a quarantena obbligatoria perché lo scorso 25 aprile si trova sul volo Sant’Elena-Johannesburg insieme alla donna olandese, moglie del “paziente zero” dell’hantavirus, poi morta anche lei nei giorni successivi. A bordo c’era anche il cittadino svizzero ricoverato a Zurigo negli scorsi giorni.
È stato in giro in Italia per 17 giorni toccando tutte le classiche mete di storia e arte del nostro Paese. I test ai quali è stato sottoposto nel nosocomio milanese, centro di riferimento per le malattie infettive, hanno dato esito negativo. Insomma, non ha al momento sviluppato la malattia e – per quanto se ne sa – non sarebbe contagiato e, di conseguenza, non può aver infettato. Tuttavia, dovrà restare in isolamento e tra una settimana verrà nuovamente sottoposto ai test per la ricerca del virus.
In ognuno delle tappe della sua vacanza in Italia, il britannico è rimasto tre-quattro giorni fino al suo arrivo a Milano. Le autorità inglesi lo stavano cercando, senza riuscire a rintracciare. Una volta localizzato in Italia, hanno allertato il ministero della Salute che si è messo sulle sue tracce fino a quando non lo ha trovato attraverso la registrazione in un b&b nel quale alloggiava con un amico, incontrato direttamente in Italia, e ora anche lui in isolamento a scopo precauzionale. L’ipotesi che quest’ultimo sia stata contagiato appare remota. L’inglese dovrà rispettare una quarantena di 42 giorni, prevista dalle linee guida internazionali. Dunque, rimarrà al Sacco fino al prossimo 6 giugno come disposto dal ministero della Salute.

A long tour, about two weeks in duration, until Tuesday evening when he was found in a bed&breakfast in the capital of Lombardy and taken to the Sacco Hospital, where he is in isolation. This is the itinerary of the English tourist, 60 years old, who is under mandatory quarantine because on April 25th he was on the Sant’Elena-Johannesburg flight with the Dutch woman, wife of the “patient zero” of the hantavirus, who also died in the following days. The Swiss citizen, who was hospitalized in Zurich in recent days, was also on board.
He had been traveling around Italy for 17 days, visiting all the classic historical and artistic destinations of our country. The tests he underwent at the Milanese hospital, a reference center for infectious diseases, came back negative. In short, he has not yet developed the disease and – as far as is known – he is not infected and, consequently, could not have infected anyone. However, he must remain in isolation and in a week he will be tested again for the virus.
At each stage of his vacation in Italy, the British man stayed three-four days until his arrival in Milan. The English authorities were searching for him, without being able to trace him. Once located in Italy, they alerted the Ministry of Health, who tracked him down until he found him through the registration in a b&b where he was staying with a friend, met directly in Italy, and now also in isolation for precautionary reasons. The possibility that this friend was infected appears remote. The Englishman must respect a 42-day quarantine, as stipulated in international guidelines. Therefore, he will remain at the Sacco Hospital until June 6th, as ordered by the Ministry of Health.

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Auto fuori strada centra una cappella: salvato dai vigili del fuoco un quadro del 1872 della Madonna di Pompei
Nessun ferito e quadro sacro messo in sicurezza. A Cuggiono (Milano) intorno alle 3.30 i vigili del fuoco sono intervenuti in via San Rocco 114, lungo la strada provinciale 117, per un incidente stradale che avrebbe potuto avere conseguenze ben più gravi. Per cause ancora in fase di accertamento, una vettura è improvvisamente uscita dalla carreggiata andando a schiantarsi contro una cappella comunale situata a bordo strada. All’interno della struttura religiosa era custodito un quadro storico risalente al 1872, raffigurante la Madonna di Pompei.
Alla guida dell’auto un giovane milanese di 22 anni che, nonostante il violento impatto, è rimasto miracolosamente illeso. Sul posto sono intervenuti i vigili del fuoco del distaccamento di Inveruno e quelli della sede centrale di via Messina, impegnati nelle operazioni di messa in sicurezza dell’area e nel delicato recupero del dipinto sacro, evitando ulteriori danni all’opera storica.
Presenti anche i carabinieri, che ora dovranno ricostruire con precisione la dinamica dell’accaduto e accertare le cause che hanno provocato l’uscita di strada della vettura.

No injuries and sacred artwork secured. In Cuggiono (Milan), around 3:30 a.m., firefighters responded to an accident on Via San Rocco 114, along provincial road 117, that could have had much more serious consequences. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle suddenly veered off the roadway and crashed into a municipal chapel located on a side street. Inside the religious building was a historical painting dating back to 1872, depicting the Madonna of Pompei.
The driver, a 22-year-old Milanese man, miraculously remained unharmed despite the violent impact. Firefighters from the Inveruno detachment and the central headquarters on Via Messina were on the scene, involved in operations to secure the area and carefully recover the sacred painting, avoiding further damage to the historical work.
Carabinieri were also present, who will now reconstruct the events with precision and determine the causes that led to the vehicle leaving the road.

Il Tempo: Lavoro, Bottini: "Somministrazione crea occupazione di qualità"
Milano, 5 mag. (Adnkronos) - "Questo nuovo Ccnl contiene importanti novità che si collocano, però, nel solco della tradizione delle agenzie per il lavoro, cioè un forte investimento in formazione e welfare, in modo da creare occupazione di qualità, che è l'esatto contrario di quello che, talvolta, una narrazione distorta, dice delle agenzie, identificandole con il lavoro precario. E' l'esatto contrario e questo nuovo contratto collettivo lo conferma". Sono le parole di Aldo Bottini, avvocato dello studio legale Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo, all'incontro organizzato oggi da Assolavoro presso la sede di Assolombarda a Milano. L'evento è la tappa milanese del Roadshow con cui l'associazione nazionale di categoria delle agenzie per il lavoro approfondisce le novità legate al Contratto collettivo nazionale di lavoro per i lavoratori in somministrazione, rinnovato lo scorso luglio.
Il nuovo Ccnl, con valenza triennale, interessa circa un milione di lavoratori occupati tramite le agenzie per il lavoro. È stato, infatti, sottoscritto il 21 luglio 2025 da Assolavoro, Cgil, Cisl, Uil e le organizzazioni sindacali di categoria Nidil Cgil, Felsa Cisl e UilTemp. Ogni mese in tutta Italia lavorano in media circa 500mila lavoratori tramite le agenzie per il lavoro, tra questi più di 147mila sono in Lombardia e circa 77mila nel territorio della Città Metropolitana di Milano.
"Oggi può essere anche occasione per fare il punto sullo stato di salute della somministrazione, che nonostante il riemergere periodico di qualche manifestazione di diffidenza, comunque gode di ottima salute e ha dato molta buona prova di sé in questi anni, creando occupazione di qualità e alternative ad altre forme di lavoro precarie, che invece, purtroppo, continuano ad affliggere il nostro mercato del lavoro", conclude.

It is the exact opposite and this new collective agreement confirms it.” These are the words of Aldo Bottini, lawyer at the Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo law firm, at an event organized today by Assolavoro at the Assolombarda headquarters in Milan. The event is the Milanese stop of the Roadshow with which the national association of employment agencies deepens the innovations related to the Collective National Agreement for workers supplied through agencies, renewed last July.
The new collective agreement, with a three-year validity, concerns approximately one million workers employed through employment agencies. It was signed on July 21, 2025 by Assolavoro, Cgil, Cisl, Uil and the sectoral trade unions Nidil Cgil, Felsa Cisl and UilTemp. On average, about 500,000 workers work throughout Italy each month via employment agencies, of whom more than 147,000 are in Lombardy and approximately 77,000 in the territory of the Milan Metropolitan City.
"Today can also be an opportunity to assess the health of temporary work, which, despite periodic manifestations of distrust, nevertheless enjoys excellent health and has given a lot of good proof of itself in recent years, creating quality employment and alternatives to other precarious forms of work, which unfortunately continue to afflict our labor market,” he concludes.
