Ariadne reviews KubeCon booths, a thread
JFrog: 8/10, nice neon accents on the floors. solid design.
ScaleOps: 7/10, leans heavily into the Tron motif. maybe too heavily?
Teleport: 9/10. very purple.
wiz: 9.5/10, reminds me of blockbuster video which means I'm old. minus half a point because they have a harry potter movie pun.
futbol precision lab: idk I don't care about futbol
minimus dart game: 7.5/10, not real darts but the fun police probably wouldn't have allowed that anyway
Dell: 9/10. they have cute servers on display. may be biased because ariadne.space runs purely on Dell infrastructure
Google cloud: 7.5/10, reminds me of an apple store.
AWS: 8.5/10, interesting concept, also the booth design has more soul than the Google one
red hat: 9.5/10, but they always have a good booth game
Suse: 8/10. they have a robot dog.
datadog: 9/10. cool use of vertically mounted displays
vmware: 6/10. as bland as the parent company.
Nutanix: 7.5/10, bland design but at least they're not owned by broadcom
isovalent: 8.5/10, but I will upgrade them to a 10/10 if they give me the crochet bee plushie
dash0: the booth is ok but the jumpsuits really bring them to a 9.5/10
flyte: their mascot reminds me of spyro the dragon. 9/10.
Pagerduty: I like the swag claw machine. they have a huge line so I won't be trying it. cool neon floor accents like jfrog. 8/10
open observe: they blasted my eardrums out the other day because they don't have a dbx unit. however the video wall and the beach theme are cool. 8.5/10.
minimus: good use of neon accents. overall a solid booth design. 9/10
ASML: I got to talk shop about extreme ultraviolet lithography. infinity out of 10.
isovalent hooked me up with a eBPF keychain, upgraded to 9.998/10
sonatype: bowling alley theme is cute, 9/10
