The state is once again trying to get me an "inclusive internship". It'll come to nothing as usual, but i'm tired of this bullshit. Internships when my college friends have VP titles.

Today, I met with Colorado Senator Matt Ball, co-author of Colorado OS Age Attestation Bill SB26-051.

Sen. Ball suggested excluding open source software from the bill. This appears to be a real possibility.

Amendments are expected for the CA age attestation bill. It's my hope we can move fast enough to influence excluding open source in the CA bill amendments.

No illusions, it's an uphill battle, but we have an open door to advocate for the open source community.

The past two weeks have netted me 0 words on active projects, a lot more 100 words drabbles for the file full of cursed ideas., A whole lot of teen wolf fandom consumption for no reason whatsoever, And a new appreciation for the SCP Foundation

you oppose the government because it dares to tax you.

I oppose the government because it wants to erase me.

One Week with NVDA: A JAWS User’s Immersion Journey

What started as a seven-day experiment ended with a new primary screen reader. I’ll be honest: I didn’t expect this to go the way it did. On February 14th, 2026, I set myself a challenge — use NVDA exclusively on my personal computer for one full week, switching back to JAWS only if my work required it. I’ve been a longtime JAWS user, and NVDA has always been on my radar as the powerful, free, open-source alternative.
