Fireworks in the ACT Legislative Assembly today (between Fiona Carrick and Rachel Stephen Smith, re Burrangiri Respite Centre) spilled over into the gallery this arvo, when a distraught carer let fly loudly and really gave it to them. Harrowing. They tried to shut her down but she wasn't having it. She eventually left the chamber, her message loud and clear. Good to see Parton, Rattenbury and others then stand in support of Fiona's motion. Well done FC, a stressful but successful day. #ACTpol
