ACT Libs falling apart - again. 😄😄

I have little sympathy for #LNP women who complain of bullying etc. Of course it is disgusting and unacceptable but truly they should know by now what to expect of most male #LNP. There are enough examples, too numerous to mention.
Also bullying #LNP females. Certain Major-General types or those who mutter about 'dishonest bovines' spring to mind.
If you play in mud you get dirty.

I did find Thomas Emerson's comment interesting, bearing out recent discussions about the oxymoron of an 'Independent Party'.

' "It's days like these that make me really glad that I'm not in a party and I don't have to think about any of this sort of stuff," he said.'😉😊

Leanne Castley is already party-less but some Liberals want her gone entirely

Whether they're being driven away or choosing to jump in a getaway car, the women who have recently led the Canberra Liberals are no longer anywhere near the driver's seat.

One advantage of Hare Clark, you know who the replacements will be

Microsoft Teams: jeez Louise, glad himself was here to help. Typical of the ACT govt to make life for *normal* ppl as difficult as possible, in public consultation situations. Grrrrrr.....

Anyhoo, planning for the North Curtin development is progressing in typical ACT govt fashion: A DOG'S BREAKFAST.

So I don't quite understand the ANU council resignations today.

I understand these were council positions that were appointed by the education minister, yeah?

Did they resign out of some principle or something? Or was it their individual choice to give up their positions?

The acting chancellor of the Australian National University confirms four more members of the university council have resigned, following last week's exit of former chancellor Julie Bishop.

What the blazes is going on in our #EducationSystem ? Is this another example of #Managerialism going wrong?

“Dr McNeill was appointed CEO in June 2025, but while applying for the role, did not tell the CIT board she was under investigation by TAFE NSW for "serious misconduct".

The controversy sparked the public inquiry, which led to an assembly committee making seven recommendations and 11 findings, including that Dr McNeill should have disclosed the information about the misconduct investigation to the CIT board in a timely manner.

Dr McNeill told the committee that she had sought to disclose the investigation to CIT during the recruitment process but had been advised on multiple occasions, both verbally and in writing, by TAFE NSW that she was not permitted to do so. “
