Whatever you're building right now that brings people together to make a small thing better, keep building it.

Whatever you're maintaining right now that supports your community, keep maintaining it.

May there be joy in that work.

Even if it feels useless, keep at it. You have no idea how far reaching the effects might be.

@MichaelTBacon

Thanks for the encouragement!

The overhaul of ossified assumptions that I'm campaigning for in Aerodynamics ought to have consequences that are SO far-reaching that they're literally incalculable.

(And because most of the Aerodynamic effects that happen each day are air-on-air events, Meteorology will benefit too...)

However, it often feels

- especially on here, with no acknowledged 'publishing algorithm' -

as if the task will take at least the next SEVENTY-SEVEN YEARS...!

@MichaelTBacon Words I really needed to hear today. Thank you.
@eosfpodcast Glad of it. The work you do matters.

@MichaelTBacon This resonates with me a lot. My biggest passion is supporting autistic people in any way I can. Bringing autistics together in a community is part of that passion.

I'll never know if I'm helping people or the extent of it, other than the customers who email me to share this. I can only hope that the love I have for the autistic community can have a positive impact on others.

I've felt/been alone nearly all my life, and I don't want anyone else to feel alone like that.

@MichaelTBacon Thank you for the encouragement ❤️

I've had ME/CFS and orthostatic intolerance for 33 years. Neither are rare conditions. And yet I still run into doctors and nurses who don't know anything about them.

It happened again at my last appointment. Not my doctor, she knows! It was a nurse who took my vitals and wondered why my heart rate was so high just from standing.

Anyway, I'll keep trying to do my small bit of advocacy & education!

@ahimsa_pdx Caring for yourself is important work! Everything you do on top of that is outstanding!
@MichaelTBacon this was a good message for me to get right now -- thank you
