🏁 Darlington Raceway Recap | ETHiX Racing

Darlington lived up to its reputation as one of the toughest tracks on the schedule, but ETHiX Racing walked away with a hard‑earned top‑ten finish after a long, caution‑filled afternoon. With Chelsea Carter out for the week, all eyes were on Steven Carlile as he took on the Lady in Black solo for the team.

@carlile qualified tenth and showed steady pace early, but his day took a hit on a lap‑20 restart when the No. 12 spun its tires and slid into him, causing suspension damage. From that point on, the race became a test of patience and tire management. Despite missing out on stage points and dealing with a car that needed constant attention, Carlile kept digging and worked his way back into the top ten, finishing eighth at the checkered flag.

He now moves up to sixth in the championship standings.

Carlile reflected on the grind with pride in the team’s resilience.
“Darlington never gives you anything for free. Getting hit that early put us behind, but we just chipped away all race long. An eighth‑place finish after that kind of day feels like a win. We’ll take the momentum and keep pushing.”

The Lady in Black left her mark, but ETHiX Racing leaves with another strong result and plenty of confidence heading into next week at Martinsville, where Carlile went to victory lane at the end of last season.
