I can't believe the breathless reporting about what Eon labs claimed was a fly brain in a digital fly body. People are claiming that we're close to being able to do this with other creatures....
But it's all #bullshit. They didn't even do it with the fly as claimed!

It's just mapping interpreted control signals as input to software controllers that then do all the work.
