#Journal of a busy and slightly tired Dutch AuDHD Pixy  (Wednesday, 25/03/2026).

I had a little less sleep than I hoped for, as I woke up an hour before the alarm, and I was wide awake. So with about 6½ hours of sleep, I got up and started my “day”. The scale was an asshat again, but I knew that I was the one to blame for that. I got dressed, took my meds, packed my bag, and then I headed to Skoosh, and together we skedaddled to the gym.

I checked up on my social bits while I was enjoying my protein shake. After that, I got to the recumbent bike, and I rode it for a while Unfortunately, my leg started acting up, again, and it is really bugging me out now. I got these surgeries because of issues that felt exactly like the issues I am experiencing again now. So yeah, that makes me worried… Are things going bad again? Or is something else happening this time? 🤔 After a short walk on the treadmill, I got to the massage chair. Then, I got ready to head back home again.

I washed up, got to the couch. After a wee bit of relaxing, I grabbed my laptop, and started writing my journal toot. I worked on my blog a bit, and then I played a bit with some AI, generating some luministic images from my (puppy) pictures. After a bit, I put away the laptop. I got another idea for an image, so I made it on my phone. Then, I watched a bit of telly, before I made myself some food. I read for a while, until it was time to get ready to head to Nijmegen.

The weather was weird this morning. We already had some bad winds, but as I was driving to my parent’s place, it started with a pink, slightly sunny, sky, that quickly turned into a very dark and gray sky, which brought some heavy rain. With the wind blowing hard, it almost came by horizontally, it was a challenge to safely drive to Nijmegen. I put some benzine in Skoosh, which caused me a slight heart attack! Even at a discounter pump, it was still €2,199 per liter! (For the USA folks among you all, according to my calculations, that comes to about $9,66 per gallon). I know that it’s even more expensive at the normal pumps, with a service station, and less discount… Along the way to the garage, I saw prices of €2,329 per liter, so you do the math now much that is per gallon… But, it’s a lot… 😞

I got to my parent’s place, took Bas down for mum, and gave him some cuddles after he’d been out for his wee. Then, I gave him his meal, as mum had it prepared already. I had to wait for a while, until dad got ready, and then we headed to Skoosh, and went on our way to Ede. It was rather busy on the roads, and the weather kept switching between some bright sun, and some (heavy) rains… We picked up dad’s colleague, and headed to Veenendaal, to take Skoosh there. I got the keys to a loan car, which was a quite new, and luxurious, Yaris hybrid. But, it being about 6 to 7 years younger than Skoosh, not all the controls were the same. Still, we got to Amersfoort safe and sound. I got my badge, after showing my passport and being allowed on the terrain. And we headed to the museum’s building.

I read for a while, and I helped dad with several chores. Around noon, we went for food, and then we did some more shores. Around 14:45, we headed back to Ede, to take dad’s colleague home first. Then, onward to the garage. Unfortunately, it took quite some time before Skoosh was finally done. We left around 17:20, and it took a little less than an hour to get dad home. Then, I went onward to my home. The road was a little less busy than I thought, so that was very welcome. I got home, took my meds, put away my things, had a little snack, and then… It was time for bed.

After a little while, I fell asleep. I had a short time till my alarm, as I didn’t want to adjust my routine too much. So, when I woke up for the loo, it was about 15 minutes till the alarm was set to go off. Which meant, after getting about 4 hours of sleep, I got up to start my “day”.

Thanks to all for your kindness and support during my "journey through daily life"  I really appreciate it 💜 as it helps me to keep going on bad/harder days!
