After diving into #HomeAssistant, I discovered #ESPhome and started playing with it.
Now I have an #ESP32 board that fetches dad-jokes in regular intervals (https://icanhazdadjoke.com/) and displays them on a little e-ink display that was leftover from another project.
Took me a while, and my family hates the jokes. Time well spent. 🤣
