you know what, incoming spam texts make for a pretty fun writing prompt. I should do this more.
it's good to stretch these muscles
awww, but I was just getting started :(
(obligatory "yes I know Lovecraft was a racist piece of shit", I just picked one of the Cryo Chamber collab album titles because I don't have all day)

@tully

Ahhh I turned off Three Body Problem, glad to see it ends well.

@tully
I need a better script for those "energy advisers' that keep calling the landline.

Fuck off! Fuck off! Fuck off! isn't how I want to interact - I'd far sooner have some kind of "it's not convenient right now, can you call back in a couple of days" and by then have worked out some series of questions that will get them really involved.
I'd aim to waste at least 30 minutes of their time...

@OneInterestingFact @tully What’s stopping you from saying exactly that? Make a callback appointment even, their victim botherance system should have that option. Then spend the first fifteen minutes playing how you forgot what the call is about and that you asked to be called back.

Mostly my incandescent rage at being hassled by thieves.
@tully @kevinrns I used to answer spam calls at work with β€œgood, I’m glad you called. There’s a lot more blood than we anticipated. Did you get the bearer bonds?”
@revndm @tully @kevinrns If I'd have done that while at various mega-bank trading desks the tapes might have been pulled and I might have been in VerySeriousPoo --- but maybe it would have been worth it!
@DamonHD @tully @kevinrns I find in the organ harvesting business that it’s always worth it to have extra help.

@revndm @tully @kevinrns Investment banking and organ harvesting aren't usually mentioned together out loud... Not in my social circles anyhow...

Oh no, this combo might summon THE BEN @TheBreadmonkey

@DamonHD @revndm @tully @kevinrns @TheBreadmonkey

my friend made friends with a waitress in a strip club.

they stayed in touch and she invited him to her birthday in bulgaria.

he thought it was worth the risk.

@tully

I wonder if we can also ask those bots to help us with some Python coding issue?

Might as well burn those tokens on something potentially useful.
