@ticho to be fair, that's an article written about the research paper. It's ridiculous indeed but the actual paper was properly illustrated. Here's the paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2506.08872

@emilyvanartist Fair enough, I shouldn't have assumed the image is from the study itself, even though there were the scientists' names and a plausibly looking illustration. :)

@ticho The illustration on the left did come from the actual paper. Maybe I just should have shared the paper to begin with. Honestly I'm not even sure the article is written by a human.

@ticho That's exactly what I was thinking as I wrote that last reply. Basically, in sharing the potentially-AI-generated article about the detriment that AI is to our minds, judgment, etc... I proved their point.
