I guess I need to step a bit shorter, next month/s with the writing prompts that I participate in.

I find myself stressed with online stuff lately and have a constant feeling of my time being not focused where it should be.

I don't know why, but I am constantly aggravated and this also shows in my answers, on social media or in private. I guess I stop for a
month/two, or if I can absolutely not, i reduce the amount of interactions/answers/prompts I answer.

Reading through all answers in between my toots and giving a little Star to everyone I reed and appreciate, gets more time consuming lately and maybe I better focus on my offline life for a bit with how I'm feeling about time usage atm.

So no worries I'm not gone completely. Just a bit less active for a time here, I think. And I will definitely not lay down Star Ryde again. 🙂

I plan too. Hopefully I can transfer the energy of answering the prompts into direct words on the WIP.

I will keep updating the word count on my profile and occasionally might answer the prompts. Maybe I even keep the structure of the threads running for my own data archive if I download a copy again. Not sure yet but the main focus will be offline for some time and on my WIP. :)

That's the plan, I mean I have written something about the story for the time I'm here (around 3 or 4 years) almost daily, I think that should help getting into a sort of rhythm for the WIP itself, if I focus on it instead of the prompts.

@AnnaSaultron ❤️ Good plan! I think these things are here for if you want to answer them. Like actually have the feeling of "oh, I have something I want to say about that!" If it feels like a chore, don't do it!

Yes and they are a great way of getting to know people. All the games also made me more focused, on my SciFi world, more than ever before and I wouldn't have gotten there without them.
Also it was fun to send in Questions on some occasions..Next Word Weavers will probably have some too. I really like the writing community and never have felt more welcome in a space, without having to prove myself in any way.

I have reached 50.000+ (USians 50,000) words with Star Ryde atm and I will keep updating the post on my profile.

For my own inner Monk I will keep a oversight post for the threads, but I will not post every day an answer. Maybe I keep the prompts as a sort of my own archive if I download my data again. IDK yet but the main focus has to be offline life and on my WIP for a time.

I will keep an eye open for your game especially because the weekly format makes it more easy to answer. :D

@AnnaSaultron I can understand this. I've been there. The hashtags are supposed to be something you do on the side for fun, but they can start to consume all your time, which they should never do. When that happens, it's a good idea to step back and reset like you're doing. Enjoy all that time you're going to gain. Good luck! 😃 👍
