Numbers for the fun ("known numbers" only) about #GIMP 3.2.0:

* Released on March 14.
* Windows installer already downloaded over a million times.
* Installed about 50k times from the MS Store (last data on 21st of March, so in fact more).
* macOS DMGs downloaded more than 150,000 times.
* We estimate around 300,000 active users on Flathub (based on new download and updates stats).
* The Snap Store tells us we have more than 359,000 active devices of the Snap.

@GIMP and all of this tells you have too much distribution channels
@shalien @GIMP And yet we have requests from users for more, like on Steam: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/10061 馃榾

Description Of The Feature I want GIMP to be officially distributed via Steam. Rationale...

GitLab

@CmykStudent @shalien I also forgot to list our AppImages!

But I just checked, we had only about 20,000 downloads of our 3.2.0 AppImages (though we also have these zsync files for AppImage updates; I'm unsure how this update works).

But yeah, we have all the time people asking us for this or that other package, sometimes even getting mad at us for that!

@CmykStudent Getting to publish there could be really big, though.

@martymichal Sure, it'd be pretty cool. I've read up on it a bit and it doesn't seem terribly difficult (once we have a Steam account, we can largely push releases directly from the pipeline).

It was just an example of how people want us on even more platforms. :)
