Matt Thomas@marcoarment Overcast can do this too, but I’ve only found a single case where the transcript wasn’t already waiting for me (a non-popular podcast episode that was just released). Overall, it’s nice that 99% of the podcasts I listen to already have the transcripts. Even the private ones.
David Harrison 🇨🇦@codecaffeine @marcoarment I saw a bunch of episodes that “should” have had transcripts ready for me but didn’t last week, but things seem to be better this week. I’m guessing the backend is getting better at it…
Having the button to generate local transcripts is fantastic, particularly as a backup, but it’s not really "magic”.
