Today is FND Awareness Day in the UK. Functional Neurologic Disorder causes serious neurologic impairment in patients. Mine, like many cases, was caused by a triggering incident. I was assaulted.

Most folks haven’t heard of FND so it may be helpful to say OG DXs like shell shock and nervous breakdown could be FND. Tommy, in the movie Tommy seems to have FND.

In general folks can be wary of a DX they never heard of. Now you’ve heard of it.
