Does anyone have an iPad alternative suggestions? I'm really tired of iOS. Apple sucks.

All what I do on my iPad are just
writing shit on PDFs
using One Note once a while
use browser to download PDFs from moodle
Video call once or twice a month
Be able to do file backups

The most important feature for me will be the ability to write things on PDFs smoothly in quantity, preferable if I don't need to download any extra software for that. Anything else I'm willing to work around it. Price Range below 500€ preferable around 200€

Please save me from using ever iOS again in my life. #askFedi

@Hikari There are a couple of Android tablets marketed to artists that come with pens. XPPen is one brand - I have one. There are some also based on e-ink.

Writing support in Android is interesting but works well - a lot of apps don't have direct support so they just get text from the IME. I don't know how to compare it to iOS, though.

@static it actually looks pretty good. I had an surface go before and widows is just too laggy sometimes as operating system. So I think android can be a good choice. I will look into it deeper. Thank you

@anpli mostly too big, and probably too heavy. I want it to be between 10 to 12 inches and weight less than 1 kg. Can't be bigger. Therefore probably a tablet.

@uint8_t have seen it, don't like it. I need proper colour contrast for my dyslexia. And it's mostly just for writing, not writing on PDFs which are actually different. And it needs some broad compatibilities for me to use it for the university, which will be the main job of my tablet.
