#WritersCoffeeClub 25Mar—The vulnerability of sharing: what do you feel when a loved one reads your work?

I feel... well, vulnerable, but in a good way. A sort of excited nervousness that makes my heart race while wearing a giddy grin. But I do find myself needing their approval, even if it's not their preferred genre.

I'm getting better at this. Each new book release toughens my skin; each positive review a chink on the armor around my vulnerable heart. One day, I'll be invincible.
