Some (but not all) others included are:
–Generalized anxiety disorder
–PTSD
–Social anxiety disorder
–Narcissistic personality disorder (mostly in antagonists)

#PennedPossibilities 1033—Would you or have you considered writing a MC with a mental illness? How would or did you approach the subject?

Depression is a common theme in my novels. Two characters in particular have it: Jaslan and Emery. The former is more situational, while the latter is more chronic.

As a battler of depression myself, I approach it with sensitivity, care, and humanity, because that's what I hope happens IRL, too—for depression, and all MIs.

Earlier this month, I set a goal to sell 40 books in celebration of my 40th birthday.

I knew this was a bit of a stretch. Aside from when I have book releases, I usually make about 20 sales.

However, I managed to not only meet my goal, but surpass it by over 25% (if you include the four copies I sold direct, almost 50%)!

#ScribesAndMakers 31May—How confident are you feeling in your creative project(s) after this month?

Fairly confident, actually. I'm reading through it on my Kindle now, editing and making minor adjustments as I go. I love everything about this story, and I know my readers will, too.

It seems with every completed project, my confidence grows, which is great. Onto the next!

#WritersCoffeeClub 31May—What went right for you this month?

I managed to complete the full rewrite of my current WIP before I left for vacation, which was my goal. And while I was on vacation, my other story ideas further defined themselves, and one more may have made itself known.

My idle mind never rests, but I [not-so] secretly love it. 😇

(I also had a great sales/page reads month, which is an added bonus!)
