DrScriptt@drscriptt @lobsters I know, because it's basically a poor-persons method of "sharding" data into smaller blocks and then iterating i.e. TXT records…
- I mean, I prefer to use i.e. QR-Codes or AFSK Audio for data transfers and I'm working on something to do this easier for small files.
- But I've seen #malware using such creative means to circumvent #MITM-Style #AntiMalware - #Firewalls & #DPI-Scanners which usually only scan #Downloads and maybe block #Uploads but don't do much re: #DNS queries…
- Simply because it's unfeasible to do so with a shitton of SaaS spread across several providers and fudging with DNS causes stuff to break…
