Edit: I was annoyed with how crappily low-resolution the imgflip version was (and how they use nearest-neighbor for scaling down their images!), so I recreated the meme entirely in #LibreOffice Draw, saved it at roughly 2.5 times the resolution of the original, and used #WebP compression to make it 1,029 bytes smaller than the original JPEG!! 💪
Dude, his concept of what we call "C.S." was purely mathematical.
Even blessèd Dijkstra was aiming for the mathematical provability of code when he wrote "GOTO Considered Harmful."
Those guys would flip tables and fashion a whip of cat6 and cleanse the "temple" if they saw the out-of-control grifting and poserism we have today XD
I never had the math brain to understand it mathematically, but I could at least understand it logically.
Today's coders? "Heh heh, React go BRRR!" 🤦♂️
@rl_dane If I weren't the antichrist of math, I would have pursued a Ph.D in neuroscience.
That is, by several orders of magnitude, more computational than whatever these coder kids do these days.
As a kid, all I ever wanted to do was get a PhD. in #ComputerScience.
I didn't even understand college degrees, I just knew there were people called doctors that weren't physicians, so I told my parents I wanted to be a "Computer Doctor."
My parents didn't understand what I was trying to say. 😄
