I think the brace helped. Thinking forward to Taiwan: since I have literally nothing to do I’m planning on hiking/biking/exploring, and I REALLY need to get back into shape.

Have started a basic 2 days on, 1 day off workout session with #AppleFitness+

I noticed that my left knee, even with a regular brace, was a bit iffy, and that was the knee they thought had a torn meniscus, until they MRIed and found nothing.

Hence the new robo-brace.

@LoneLocust I had a torn meniscus and the MRI showed nothing. It wasn't until the doctor went in orthoscopically that he found the damage and repaired it.

@mlanger hmmm. Well, there was *something* loose under the knee cap, it was soft and it would poke out and I could massage it back under the kneecap. Surgeon was certain it was torn meniscus but the MRI came back clean, so they put me in PT for a couple months and the problems mostly went away.

They explained that the thing under the kneecap was probably fat that had broken loose and was reabsorbed into the body

@LoneLocust Mine was a v-shaped tear that was torturing me when I bent my knee all the way. Did not show anywhere. I wasted tons of money and time on tests and PT with no results. Finally, I just asked the doctor to go in and and look. He looked, found the tear, cut it off, and I was good as new in a week.

The PT was especially annoying because it wasted so much of my time.
