I think the brace helped. Thinking forward to Taiwan: since I have literally nothing to do I’m planning on hiking/biking/exploring, and I REALLY need to get back into shape.
Have started a basic 2 days on, 1 day off workout session with #AppleFitness+
I noticed that my left knee, even with a regular brace, was a bit iffy, and that was the knee they thought had a torn meniscus, until they MRIed and found nothing.
Hence the new robo-brace.
Time to get back into my #AppleFitness routine.
Not much of my legs left that don’t have to be strapped up.
What is The Best Bike Computer App?
I still prefer to use phone + watch combo rather than dedicated cycling computer.
And I am still looking for good apps for that use case.
My current favorites:
1. #AppleFitness - simple, energy efficient, reliable, looks nice, free
2. #Cadence - looks nice, many data screens, quite easy to use while riding, bad navigation features
3. #Komoot - best navigation, route creation, but not focused on cycling data

Friday #Workout:
22 minutes of yoga for runners.
30 minutes of strength training.
12 KM of #Running (light snow, -8°C, -11 windchill, 87% humidity, and 6 KM/H wind).
Today marks the completion of the 70th time I've completed the Yoga for Runners program. Strength was good, followed by another Zone 2 run (11%, 81%, 8%). Route was messy again with light fresh snow everywhere.
Did not expect to complete the #AppleFitness February challenge (25 runs in 28 days), and yet, here I am. 🤷🏻🖖🏻
Thursday #Workout:
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
20 minutes of kickboxing.
11.33 KM of #Running (-16°C, -22 windchill, 85% humidity, and 10 KM/H wind).
Passed 1000 #AppleFitness workouts in about two year or so. Kickboxing was fun and reminded me that I miss going to #KungFu.
Run was another solid Zone 2 run - the ratio between Z2 to Z1/3 seems to be going up. Another #IceBeard day, but also a pants day.
