We live in a bizarre world where it's fine to drive a 2 tonne metal box farting filth into the air to a Drive Thru, but the drink you buy there must be consumed through a crappy paper straw "for the sake of the environment".
@anon_opin I suppose one, the combustion vehicles, is already reducing in frequency and will more so. The other is not a thing on its own. But bicycle facilities are highly desirable, and could be in planning requirements.
@Photo55@anon_opin except you normally can't take a bicycle through a drive through (or so I've been told). You could walk in I suppose, but then you've probably got to lock the bike
@cachondo also, on the same note, microsoft just nagged at me for increasing my carbon footprint by having my laptop use a high performance power plan... while having just generated a "helpful" search recommendation with copilot in start menu. @anon_opin
