ND cops use AI to falsely arrest a woman, hold her in jail for months, only to find out a simple search would show they were wrong. They release her in winter with no warm clothes. Won't apologize. Won't pay to get her home. She lost her job, her house, her dog. The police don't care. AI is the most dangerous weapon in the hands of the laziest, most corrupt police.

With the huge powers, & widespread involvement in our lives, of public services, there needs to be much stronger checks & balances.

The enforced standard needs to be that every action by a bureaucracy has a human responsible for it. And criminal charges need to be in place for negligence, failure of duty of care, etc.

And if that standard isn't met then the head of that department / agency needs to be held liable. With criminal charges awaiting.
