On a half-timbered house in Osterspai (on the Rhine, in the Rhein-Lahn district of Rhineland-Palatinate), next to a statue of the rogue Till Eulenspiegel, the inscription reads: ‘The greatest wealth of mankind is the ability to make one another happy.’
