@raphaelmorgan @evergreensewing i made a couple of things back when they were called make my pattern and i got super stressed out by all the measurements and was convinced i had messed up a single number. not sure why it doesn't appeal to me
@forestine @evergreensewing I can understand if having to take all your measurements is a turnoff for you, it's kind of a pain in the ass sometimes. I'll filter by pattern but then each pattern still usually has a ton of required measurements. I wonder how inclusive their public measurement sets are, or if there's yet a way to put in some measurements and estimate the rest... If I have time/remember, I'm gonna check, and see if I can contribute to that if not!
@raphaelmorgan @evergreensewing i should give them another try, i'd like to see if some larger folks have made their stuff. the thing i like about muna and broad is the designer is fat and designs things not just based on measurements, but on how people move and aesthetics specific to larger bodies which is cool. like i am also a bit sus of very small pattern designers who grade up until i can see some good examples
@forestine @evergreensewing that's a good point! I've seen some examples on the showcase that make me believe a lot of these patterns look good on fat people and many body types, but I had to scroll a while because most of the people posting their makes are thin, and I know a lot of the designers are as well. So I understand the hesitation there. I hope you find what you're looking for wherever it ends up being 💜
